‘Faith Is Dead, But His Story Lives’ - Disqualified BBNaija Star Faith Adewale Breaks Silence

Disqualified Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has spoken publicly for the first time since his dramatic exit from the popular reality TV show in October 2025.

In a four-minute monologue video posted on his YouTube channel on Friday, the 25-year-old reality TV star and medical doctor reflected on his journey into fame, the mistakes that led to his downfall, and the personal battles he faced during his time in the Big Brother house.

Faith, who was disqualified for physical assault during the “10/10 Edition” of the show, began the video with a sombre and symbolic opening, hinting at a rebirth of sorts.

“Faith is dead, but before he passed on, he wanted to tell you stories that meant the world to him. So listen carefully,” he began, staring directly into the camera.

He revealed that his life took a dramatic turn earlier in the year following a single text message that led him into the Big Brother Naija experience.

“On March 5th, 2025, I got a text message that flipped my world upside down. One click on that link and everything changed,” he said.

The former housemate, who described himself as a doctor-turned-entertainer, disclosed that he went to extreme lengths to secure a place on Africa’s biggest reality TV platform.

“On December 24th, I came back to Nigeria, and I was pissed off. I was like, what am I going to do as a doctor in this country? But somehow, clicking that link made me end up auditioning for Africa’s biggest reality TV show,” he narrated.

Faith revealed that he took a ₦5 million loan to fund his preparation for the show.

“I did the unthinkable to get in there. I took a loan of ₦5 million, and somehow, I made it,” he said.

Reflecting on his experience inside the Big Brother house, Faith admitted to his flaws and moments of emotional struggle.

“I wasn’t perfect. I made a lot of mistakes. I screamed, I argued, I broke things. I failed tasks. I said things I shouldn’t have said. I lost friends,” he confessed.

He also revealed that he struggled mentally during the show and reached out for professional help multiple times.

“I was overwhelmed. I was isolated. And to be honest, I asked for a therapist over three times because I knew I needed help,” he said.

Despite his disqualification and controversies, Faith expressed deep gratitude to his fans across Africa who supported him while he was in the house.

“Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’d never met were shouting my name, fighting for me, spending hard-earned money to keep me in that house,” he said with visible emotion.

Faith said his supporters connected not with perfection, but with authenticity.

“They didn’t see a perfect man. They saw Faith, the little kid that had flaws, passion, and purpose,” he said.

Looking ahead, the former housemate said he feels renewed and energised, promising to explore new creative ventures in entertainment, media, and advocacy.

“I feel invigorated. I feel energised. I’m so excited to take on the world. There’s so much I can do, so much I can change,” he said.

Faith ended his video with an emotional yet defiant message to his supporters and critics alike.

“This is my call to the world, to Africa, to Nigeria. This is Faith Adewale, the dreamer, the doctor, the creator, the entertainer, your latest reality TV star. I’m ready to make magic with you. Let’s go f**k shit up,” he concluded.

It is worth noting that Faith Adewale rose to fame as one of the standout contestants of BBNaija Season 10, themed “10/10”, but was disqualified midway after a heated altercation with a fellow housemate turned physical.

Since his disqualification, Faith had maintained silence until now. His comeback video, described by fans as “raw, emotional, and powerful,” has already garnered thousands of views and sparked widespread reactions online, with many calling it a story of redemption and rebirth.
