FG Extends NSCDC, Fire Service, Immigration Recruitment Deadline By One Week

The Federal Government has extended the deadline for the ongoing recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service by one week.

The recruitment portal, which was earlier scheduled to shut down on Monday, August 4, 2025, will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025, to accommodate more applicants.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (retd.), on Sunday.

“The Board wishes to notify the general public that the closing date for application for its ongoing recruitment exercise has been extended by one week,” the statement read.

“This extension is geared towards providing additional opportunity for applicants willing to be enlisted into any of the Paramilitary Services as well as the Board.”
