TG Omori Joins Tiwa Savage in Embracing Celibacy Lifestyle

Popular Nigerian music video director, ThankGod Omori Jesam, better known as TG Omori, has revealed that his decision to embrace celibacy has brought him peace of mind and reduced his personal challenges.
The award-winning cinematographer made this known in a post shared via his official X handle, where he claimed that the lifestyle change had drastically improved his wellbeing.
“Since I took my oath of celibacy, half of my problems were solved,” he wrote.

Omori’s post has since generated a wave of reactions online, with some of his followers doubting the authenticity of his claim, while others said they were willing to give celibacy a try to enjoy its supposed benefits.
His revelation comes weeks after Afrobeat singer Tiwa Savage disclosed that she had also been celibate for three years. The “Somebody’s Son” crooner explained that her celibacy was tied to her singleness, stressing that she only experiences sexual urges when in a romantic relationship.

TG Omori’s Rise in Entertainment
TG Omori, often referred to as the “Boy Director,” is one of Nigeria’s most sought-after music video directors. Born in Cross River State in 1995, he studied Film and Television Production at the Peacock Institute of Arts in Lagos.
His career breakthrough came in 2018 when he directed videos for emerging stars such as Naira Marley, Olamide, and Fireboy DML. Omori is celebrated for his unique cinematography and has worked with some of Africa’s biggest artistes including Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido.
In 2019, he directed over half of the top-charting Nigerian music videos, earning him widespread recognition. He has since won several awards, including the Best Music Video Director at the Soundcity MVP Awards and nominations at the Headies.
