We Don’t Sleep So You Can Sleep – Otti Tells Abia Residents

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has called on residents of the state to promptly alert security agencies or even reach out to him directly whenever they notice any suspicious activity that could threaten public safety.
Speaking on Wednesday at the Government House, Umuahia, during the celebration of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, Otti said he remains awake so that Abians can sleep peacefully.
“If you see something, say something. Call the Nigeria Police, the DSS, the Army—just call the security agencies or call me. We don’t sleep, and the reason we don’t sleep is so that you can sleep,” the governor said.
Otti expressed confidence in the state’s security architecture, praising the dedication of service commanders whom he described as hardworking and committed to safeguarding Abia. He also thanked residents for supporting his administration.
He urged citizens to continue cooperating with security agencies, noting that such support would boost their morale and enhance their efficiency.
