Family Background and Education

Victor Eugenie Adere popularly known as Victor AD was born on the 2nd of August 1993 into a family of 6. He hails from the Urhobo tribe in Ughelli, Delta State in Nigeria. Although, he was born and grew up in Lagos State with his family before they relocated.

The 28-year-old singer is the first child out of the 4 children given birth to by Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Adere. Mr. Emmanuel Adere who was Victor’s father was later reported dead in 2019.

Also, Victor AD has a younger brother, Joshua Adere an inspirational singer like him, and 2 other younger sisters.

Concerning his education, Victor AD attended Heritage International and Ekpan Secondary School for both his primary school respectively. He later proceeded to Auchi Polytechnics in Edo state where he studied Electrical Electronics Engineering.

Music Career

From a young age, Victor AD has a passion for music. He engaged in different musical activities including playing musical instruments, writing songs, and participating in talent shows. During his school days at Auchi Polytechnics, Victor AD is popular for singing and organizing shows.

After graduation, Victor AD ventured into music professionally by releasing his first song “Jowo”. The song became an anthem on different radio stations. This led to him being featured by Erigga, a Nigerian rapper in his song titled ‘Motivation’. Due to this collaboration, Victor AD becomes more popular because of that.

Since then Victor released many songs including ‘No Idea’ released in 2017. His inspirational song ‘Wetin We Gain’ became a hit after its release in 2018 making him more popular.
