Full List: NCAA Revokes Licenses Of 10 Private Jet Operators In Nigeria
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has revoked the licenses of 10 private aviation companies for operating without authorization.
NCAA asserted that these companies did not fulfil a required certification process, despite being ordered to do so by the authority.
The NCAA reports that the planes involved were violating their license by using it for commercial purposes, despite it being prohibited by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations 2023 Part 18.3.4.
This section clearly states that holders of Permit for Non-Commercial Flight (PNCF) are not allowed to use their aircraft for transporting passengers, goods, or mail for payment or compensation.
It is worth noting that the NCAA had mandated all PNCF holders to go through a re-evaluation by April 19, 2024, but the 10 companies failed to meet this deadline. As a result, their licenses have been suspended.
Below are the list of affected operators:
1. Azikel Dredging Nigeria Ltd
