Oluseyi Makinde Abiodun who is formally referred to as Governor Seyi Makinde (GSM) is currently the richest man in Oyo State. Being the current governor of the highly endowed state, he is known to have gathered enough wealth through businesses before serving in public positions.
He accumulated a lot of his wealth from rendering financial services. Kola Daisi spent a lot of years with the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) before switching to the Nigerian stock exchange. At the age of 29 years old, he was reported to have established his business empire, Making Engineering & Technical Services (METS). GSM who holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Lagos in Electrical Engineering is a rich business magnate politician and philanthropist. Not only that, he is outspoken and currently one of the youngest and richest governors in Nigeria.
2. Jonah Otunla
The 2nd on our list of the top Richest Men in Oyo State is Jonah Otunla, a renowned and retired accountant. Jonah Otunla is one of the Oyo State’s illustrious sons who has served Nigeria through their profession.
He was the Accountant General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria before he retired. Thus, he has managed different government accounts with success. Since the beginning of her career, she has served in many public positions. She was a Senator in the house of the Assembly before she move to be a senator in the Senate where she is currently serving.
