ADC Deputy Spokesman Dies In Imo

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Imo State has announced the sudden death of its Deputy Publicity Secretary, Ugochimereze Chinedu Asuzu, who reportedly slumped and died in the early hours of Wednesday.
The news of his passing was confirmed in a statement signed by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, MacDonald Amadi, who described the development as a “devastating loss.”
The party hailed Asuzu as more than a political figure, noting his extensive work in culture, theology, and civic mobilisation.
“Chief Asuzu was a man of uncommon intellect, conviction, and service. His passing is an irreplaceable loss to his family, the ADC family, and the larger Nigerian society,” the statement read.
A native of Umuma Isiaku in Ideato South Local Government Area, Asuzu combined academic excellence with grassroots activism.
He held degrees in Theology and Political Science and was pursuing a doctorate before his death.
