The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the online registration period for the 2025 Batch C prospective corps members by an additional 48 hours due to persistent technical difficulties on its portal.

The extension was contained in a statement issued by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, on Friday.

Embu said the registration, earlier scheduled to close on November 9, will now end at midnight on Tuesday, November 11.

She attributed the prolonged registration process to network-related challenges, assuring applicants that the scheme’s technical teams were working round the clock to resolve the problem.

“The longer than usual time it is taking some PCMs to complete the registration is as a result of network issues,” she explained.

Embu apologised for the inconvenience experienced by applicants and assured them that efforts were underway to ensure a smooth registration process.

“While management regrets the inconvenience this might have caused our valued PCMs, we wish to assure all that we are working round the clock to resolve the issues and ensure they enjoy seamless registration,” the statement added.

The NYSC urged prospective corps members to take advantage of the extended window to complete their registration.
