BREAKING: Yahaya Bello Bows To Pressure, Honours EFCC Invitation

After many days, the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, eventually responded to the invitation extended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
His media office confirmed This development in a statement released on Wednesday, September 18.
The statement noted that the decision followed discussions with his family, legal advisors, and political associates.
In April, the EFCC issued a wanted notice for Bello after he allegedly ignored multiple invitations and evaded arrest.
EFCC officials had previously attempted to apprehend Bello at his residence.
After several hours of unsuccessful efforts, the security personnel received additional support from the Police and the Department of State Services (DSS).
They were preparing to execute a forceful arrest when Governor Usman Ododo arrived at the location.
