Tinubu Sets For Three-day Visit To Equatorial Guinea
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to leave Abuja on Wednesday for a three-day official trip to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
This trip comes following an invitation from President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, confirmed the visit’s details in a statement issued on Tuesday.
During his stay, Tinubu will engage in discussions with Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa in Malabo.
The agenda for their talks will center on significant bilateral matters, particularly concerning oil and gas as well as security.
Additionally, several agreements are anticipated to be signed to enhance collaboration between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea in these sectors.
The statement added, “The President will be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other members of his cabinet who will be involved in the signing of agreements and review of opportunities to improve bilateral relations.”
