Nigeria, Tunisia Hold Investment, Economic Forum

A three-day trade and investment forum, designed to enhance and promote a strong bilateral economic and business partnership between Nigeria and Tunisia, recently took place at the John Wood Hotel in Abuja.

The forum, which began on September 10, was organized through a collaboration involving the Tunisia-Africa Business Council (TABC), a prominent non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering business partnerships and cooperation between Tunisian enterprises and those across Africa, along with the Embassy of Nigeria in Tunis and the Embassy of Tunisia in Abuja.

The event was inaugurated by the Tunisian Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Monsit Antit, who extended a warm welcome to the Tunisian delegates, Nigerian government officials, and business representatives in attendance.

Anis Jaziri, President of TABC, who led a delegation of 20 Tunisian businesses from various sectors to the forum, stated, “This forum presents significant opportunities for both nations.” He expressed his satisfaction in leading the Tunisian business delegation to this important event.

Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, represented by Ambassador Bolaji Akinjide, commended the initiative, characterizing it as a vital step towards strengthening the bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Tunisia.
