Again, Nigerian Singer, Burna Boy Sells Out 80,000 Capacity London Stadium

Burna Boy, the Nigerian musician, once again managed to fill the 80,000-seat stadium in London with his fans.

The Grammy award-winning artist delivered an outstanding performance at the London Stadium, which is home to West Ham United.

During the concert, Burna Boy sang some popular songs such as ‘City Boys’, ‘On Form’, and ‘Last Last’, with the enthusiastic crowd joining in.

The event started with a comedy act by Nigerian comedian and skit maker Sabinus. Other Nigerian music stars like Omah Lay, Phyno, Shallipopi, Odumodublvck, Seyi Vibez, B.N.X.N., and Pheelz also took the stage.

The concert also featured international guest performers, adding a global flavour to the event.

These included Malian singer Salif Keita and Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra, who captivated the audience with their unique styles. This is not the first time Burna Boy has sold out a concert at the London Stadium.

In 2023, he made history as the first African artist to achieve this feat. Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, rose to fame with the release of ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album ‘L.I.F.E.’ in 2013.

In 2021, his fifth album ‘Twice As Tall’ won the Grammy Award for ‘Best World Music Album’, setting a record in Nigeria.

Burna Boy has performed at and sold out various prestigious venues worldwide throughout his career.
