We Will Wrest Power From APC In 2027 – Kaduna PDP Declares

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate in Kaduna State, Edward Percy Masha, has declared that the party would unseat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next election.
Masha made this bold declaration in a statement he made shortly after the launch of his campaign team in Kaduna.
The PDP chieftain lamented the hardships inflicted on the populace by the ruling party since 2015.
He said: “Kaduna State has turned into a battleground of various insecurities, depriving the citizens of the opportunity to live their lives and earn a livelihood.”
Speaking on the forthcoming council elections scheduled for October 19, 2024, Masha said: “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is poised to regain its mandate, as the state has wholeheartedly embraced the party. With divine assistance, the electorate will express their dissatisfaction with the current circumstances by turning out in large numbers to support the PDP candidates.”
The politician stressed that with the backing of the community, his administration would diligently work to secure the party’s success across all local government areas in the state.
He noted, “The citizens are thoroughly disillusioned with the difficulties brought on by the APC government. Issues such as insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, and other criminal activities have become commonplace. This is a significant concern that our party is committed to addressing comprehensively, providing the people with a new beginning and the opportunity to realize their potential in their quest for a better life.”

During the council elections, he pledged that the party would actively engage with the community by visiting markets, shops, and homes to advocate for their candidates and highlight the advantages that would come with a PDP victory.
Furthermore, he assured that if he were elected as the state chairman of the party, he would work to bring back all those who had departed for various reasons, promising to foster an inclusive environment within the party and ensure that every member has a voice in its operations to promote its advancement.
