BBNaija’s Adekunle Alleges Police ‘Kidnapped’ Him for Eight Hours

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Adekunle Olapade, has alleged that he was “kidnapped” and held against his will for eight hours by operatives of the Nigerian Police Force.

Adekunle made the startling claim on his social media page, recounting what he described as a traumatic encounter with officers who allegedly harassed, manhandled, and handcuffed him.

The Lagos-based reality TV star suggested that the incident could have taken a tragic turn but said he survived “by the grace of God.”

“What a night! [I was] kidnapped, harassed and handcuffed by the Nigerian Police Force in the last 8 hours.

This story could have been a completely different one, and no one would have known.
But glory be to God, I’m alive today,” he wrote.

Adekunle did not disclose the circumstances that led to the alleged abduction or what transpired before the confrontation.

As of the time of filing this report, the Nigerian Police Force had not issued any statement in response to the allegations.

The allegations have since sparked discussions online, with fans expressing concern over the safety of public figures and the conduct of law-enforcement operatives.
