Fubara Forwards List Of Council Caretaker Chairmen To Rivers House Of Assembly

The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara has dispatched a roster of caretaker committee chairmen to the State House of Assembly, which is under the leadership of Speaker Victor Oko-Jumbo.

Speaker Oko-Jumbo and his team of lawmakers have planned a session on Wednesday to review and verify the nominated candidates.

A notice from the Clerk of the Oko-Jumbo-led House is said to have extended an invitation to the nominated candidates to present themselves before the House at 8 am, accompanied by 12 copies of their credentials, both original and photocopies.

The legislators mentioned that they are operating in accordance with the provisions of Section 9 (5) of the Rivers State Local Government Law.

Below is the full list of the caretaker chairmen nominated by Governor Fubara:
