'I Will Not Say Anything' - VeryDarkMan Tells Lawmakers As Bobrisky Went AWOL

Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was absent on Monday as Martins Otse, widely recognized as VeryDarkMan, appeared before lawmakers.

Recall that the House of Representatives Joint Committee had invited VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky, to investigate a serious allegations of corruption involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS).

VeryDarkMan and his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, honoured the invitation on Monday (today).

Also present before the Committee are Bobrisky’s legal representative, Averosoghene Omuvwie, as well as delegates from the EFCC and the Correctional Services.

However, Bobrisky, was nowhere to be found while his lawyer, Averosoghene Omuvwie, was already in attendance at the chamber.

However, when invited to talk, VeryDarkMan said: “Today, I will not say anything because an invitation was given out to me and Bobrisky. But he is not here.

“I don’t see why I will be here and he is not. So I won’t say anything, but my lawyer will.”

VeryDarkMan recently released an audio recording in which Bobrisky purportedly claimed to have paid N15 million to specific EFCC officials in order to have the money laundering charges against him dropped.

The recording also implied that Bobrisky was not imprisoned but was living in an apartment during the alleged six-month sentence related to Naira abuse.

Bobrisky has denied the assertions made in the audio and has suggested that he may pursue legal action.

In response to these allegations and the subsequent controversies, the House of Representatives has decided to conduct an investigation into the claims involving the EFCC and the NCoS.
