Mother Of Late President Musa Yar’adua Is Dead
Katsina State citizens and Nigeria at large has been thrown into mourning as Hajiya Dada, the mother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, has been confirmed dead.
Reports emerged stating that Hajiya Dada died at the Katsina Teaching Hospital on Monday evening.
The deceased was the mother of Umaru Musa Yar’adua, who held the presidency in Nigeria from 2007 until his demise in 2010, and was succeeded by his then Vice, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
Hajiya Dada was recognized for her formidable character and significant influence on her son’s life and career.
Her passing has elicited a wave of condolences throughout Nigeria, with numerous prominent individuals and politicians honouring her legacy.
It is anticipated that she will be interred in Katsina, following Islamic traditions.
